Styles From Beyond (SFB) was established in 2001. Currently with a total of 10 members in the
group, SFB had shown talent in various facets in the entertainment scene namely Hiphop,
B-boying (Breakdance), Krumping, MTV dance, Newstyle and Popping.
SFB have participated in various competitions, both locally and internationally, as well as TV shows
(specifically The Dancefloor, organized by MediaCorp) and have bagged
numerous championships and Top 3 placings. SFB represented Singapore
in dance competitions held in Malaysia and Taiwan
like the Asia Pacific Championships and was champions of the 2nd Malaysian Open Line Dance & Hip Hop Championship
(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) and Dance Fantasia (Taiwan), in 2006.
SFB also clinched the 1st Runner-Up position in the Asian Pacific
Dance Competition 2007, (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).
Recently in 2008, SFB won 1st runner up in an Annual Major competition called Hop2daBeat held
over in Malaysia. SFB have created a name for themselves in international ground.
SFB provides services in showcasing at various events for companies, commercials,
product launches, celebrations and more. To further reach out to the public, SFB
teaches, provides choreography and dance routines for school students and groups for
showcases/competitions. Some of the groups manage to clinched top prizes in the
competition they took part.
SFB managed to develop and instill the love of dance into the hearts of the young ones.
